Welcome!
Before you begin your learning journey – and first step of your journey to Bali – read the section below. This how-to will give you some basic tips to follow to effectively navigate the learning modules.
How to Navigate the Modules
This course is separated into 5 lessons (see the sections to the left), which sub-divide into various topics. When completing the course, make sure you click each lesson, topic, and quiz header as you move forward. The course completion bar at the top should indicate your progress % as you mark each section as complete.
Additionally, the course is designed to be educational but also engaging (including images, videos, click-to-open tabs), to provide you with a variety of information. Audios (text read aloud) are provided as well.

Nice.
Generally, there will still be instructions to guide your way (orange prompts), and the platform should be pretty user-friendly!
Finally, the course is also interactive, and you will be asked to reflect on yourself and on the upcoming experience, completing activities such as reading short articles and providing short answer responses to prompts/questions.
Blue boxes are for Reflection prompts and instructions. When completing these prompts, we recommend that you type your answer in a separate word doc as you go through each lesson. At the end of the lesson, there is a “quiz” section where you will be able to enter your answers. There are 15 Reflections total across the course (mostly in Lesson 2)
When you are ready, click the first topic “Why Learn Intercultural Competence” to begin.
